A customer told me that the Number Lock in the keybord of her computer was always set to off when she restart Windows, this problem appreared after she upgraded the operation system to Windows 10. It’s really not a big problem, but she have to press Number Lock every time, it somewhat annoys her.
I solved it, if you met the same problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Press Win Key + R, input regedit in the Run Dialog, then press Enter.
2. Find key “HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard” in the registry editor.
3. Choose Item named “InitialKeyboardIndicators“, and double click left mouse button, change the value into “2”/
4. Restart computer.
It’s all Okay now.
